You’ve likely made the move by now but I just wanted to say, your decision sounds amazing! It sounds perfectly right for you and that’s ALL that matters. I would love to see my parents make the same one mainly because it sounds like it would offer peace of mind, which is priceless. It also sounds like it simplifies life so you can actually enjoy life. And quite frankly, even at 40, not having to worry about the “things” would be enough to have me moving in!

All these judgments and opinions about what other people do with their life are exhausting… to each their own.
