Until we have a united international response that ensures every country gets taken care of, this will continue to happen. We’ve got too many different types of vaccines, with different efficacy rates distributed across the globe. And far too many countries can barely get vaccines.
The real question is - Why can’t our leaders come together, create one vaccine, and distribute it equally?
Because they prefer politics over big-picture thinking.
For me, I’ll prepare how I can, but I’ll take life one day at a time - like 2020 taught me. It’s good to stay informed about what’s currently happening but foolish to get caught up in “what might happen.” Not to say I disagree with any of this, but I’d love to see empowering talk replace the hysterics.
There’s a deep lesson in COVID-19 we’re missing as a planet and until it’s learned, we’ll keep going around the same mountain.
