That’s what I did… It was the only way I felt that I could protect myself. I didn’t want to be seen, I wanted to blend in. I wanted to disappear. I didn’t want all the comments and attention. It was awful. My heart goes out to young girls in these times. It was terrible when I was growing up and it’s much worse now with the internet.
