Oh goodness… I’m 39 and my partner is 30. We met when he was 25 and I ran until he chased me down at 26. I can see where you’re coming from because sometimes I worry, too. This year I turn 40 and he’s JUST hitting his prime. But 40 is also JUST getting started (in a different way) in my opinion. In addition, if fear starts to creep in, I remind myself that not everyone gets to experience wrinkles and getting older. It’s a privilege!

Besides, your partner didn’t fall in love with you for your looks — he was 32 marrying a woman with FOUR kids for heaven’s sake — that was love! Your gray hair and wrinkles mean nothing to him.

Focus on how badass you are with so many accomplishments under your belt instead of worrying about your exterior.
