Love this! Had a convo with a friend recently who was telling me how great his poly relationship was and of course, it led into him asking me if I had ever considered it. “Nope, I don’t share” has always been my response in these situations.

He tried to blame that on jealousy or whatnot, but that’s not the case. I flat out don’t share—period. I don’t like mess, I don’t like drama, and if I ever want to be with someone else then I will be.

But to me, sharing my life and compromising with one person is hard enough, much less with more than one. I’d rather be single—any day of the week. I love being on my own so it’s hard enough for me to say yes to a monogamous relationship much less a polyamorous one.

That being said, I’m all for people doing what they want, as long as no one is hurt in the process!
