Lol, I may have laughed in your friend’s face! Heaven forbid I’m ever even remotely close to “vanilla”! If anything, I’ve gone overboard to be the exact opposite… And then I chilled and found my happy center. Still—NOT close to vanilla.

But whatever—we just need to be ourselves. Whether vanilla or not. Whether crazy or not. Whether whatever or not. It’s the only way to find what will fulfill us—the rest is just a waste of time.

I’ve never fit in and while that caused me distress at times in my younger years, I couldn’t be prouder as an adult. Walking with the crowd never felt like #winning to me!
