I don’t see anything scathing at all! In fact, I agree with you. Most women aren’t used to it, so it’s a breath of fresh air when a man — a MAN — steps in. I’m not in total agreement with the author but much of what she shared is aligned for me. Regardless, I grew up in a family of strong, successful women who weren’t ever able to be with a man who appreciated it and allowed them to leave the masculine alter-ego at the door. I think women misunderstand how often we’re stepping into those roles…
